![]() ![]() Kind of surprised but I can't really see that there are a lot of i-Drive bikes out there. Super happy with how the bike rides now, and I've taken it up to a local trail (Hartland / Mt. Marzocci RV55 front fork, Transition Revolution 32 wheels, 31" bar, etc. Rode it for 2 weeks and wasn't really happy with the results so I picked up a bunch of other parts. The bike was almost fully stock when I bought it but I ended up swapping over multiple parts. Not knowing anything about full suspension, I have had a sudden crash course in all the developments and advantages/disadvantages of suspension bikes. Finally decided about a month ago to go full suspension and I bought basically the first bike in my price bracket (under $500) that came up. Been riding that for the past 3 years - commuting to work, XC trail riding, etc.Īnyway, I had elective surgery just under a year and a half ago and have had persistent pain in a particular region since. The first bike I built was awful in every way, so I parted it out and started fresh with a 2007 Kona Cindercone frame. Ended up building my own hardtail bike with new & used parts as I wanted to be able to maintain/fix it as needed. Stopped riding bikes back in 1989, so as you can imagine after 23 years everything was quite foreign to me. I'm an older rider ( 38 ) who only started riding 4 years ago. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock.Hey folks, I'm new to the forum and wouldn't mind starting a chat about the GT i-Drive 5. The oil was most recently changed in July 2023. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and has been fitted with a Macht Schnell intake-charge kit. The digital odometer indicates 39k miles, approximately 28k of which were added under current ownership. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded 9k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central digital information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. Cornering-light malfunctions are indicated on an onboard diagnostic screen. Amenities include a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and Comfort Access. The front sport seats along with the two-place rear bench are upholstered in Fox Red Novillo leather, and Carbon Leather trim accents the dashboard and doors. The brake fluid was flushed in July 2023. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. Competition Package equipment includes a lowered ride height compared to the standard M3 as well as retuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The 19″ Style 359 wheels have been refinished in gray and were mounted with 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in May 2021. M5-style mirror caps are in place and added carbon-fiber items include a Vorsteiner rear diffuser, side skirts, and an M Performance rear spoiler and front splitters. The car is finished in Alpine White III (300) and features Shadowline trim and adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, a carbon-fiber roof panel, rear Park Distance Control sensors, and quadruple exhaust outlets. This E92 M3 has 39k miles and is now offered with owner’s manuals, service records, a battery charger, a windshield sunshade, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name. In July 2023, the oil was changed and the brake fluid was flushed. The car was first registered in California, relocated to Virginia in 2012, and purchased by the seller in February 2013. Modifications include carbon-fiber aerodynamic bodywork, a Macht Schnell intake system, aftermarket lighting, and dark-painted trim. Finished in Alpine White III over Fox Red Novillo leather upholstery, it is equipped with refinished 19″ Style 359 wheels, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power-adjustable front seats, rear Park Distance Control, Comfort Access, and iDrive infotainment with navigation and a CD stereo. This 2011 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and was optioned with the Competition package. ![]()
